Telling the stories of vibrant communities
As director of communications at UAB Family & Community Medicine, I tell compelling stories about the physicians and staff who serve our community, working to address gaps and disparities in health care and change Alabama’s health trajectory.
Formerly, as associate editor of UVA Today at the University of Virginia, I planned, wrote and edited stories for UVA Today, a daily publication that earned 7.8 million pageviews in 2020.
I have continued to freelance for UVA Today and also write fiction in my spare time.
